How to handle a 17 year old son?

As for him helping around the house, he already does his own laundry…. all of the kids do their own and have since about age 8 (although I helped when they were younger). He is pretty much a home body, so he usually doesn’t ask for any money, nor does he go out with friends. His friends actually hang out at our home most of the time.

Maybe it is laundry that you stop doing, or letting him borrow the car – but he does need to know that he doesn’t have to like it to help out b/c that’s what family’s do.
